How does one create a compelling story out of one’s own personal memories? Of Swiss-Indian parentage, distinguished author Meira Chand grew up in London, travelled to India and Japan, before finally settling down in Singapore. In her latest novel, A Different Sky, the colonial days of Singapore never looked more exotic when the entire nation provides the background for the epic story.
In this exclusive meet-the-author session and writing workshop for budding writers, Meira Chand will share the challenges and excitement of incorporating local facts into a work of fiction.
