Unseen/Unsaid

Posted by yesterday.sg

Head on over to Rediscover.sg and check out this new series of webisodes that provide a glimpse into the personal struggles of individual Singaporeans whose stories draw a parallel with the surrounding places and landscapes.

This 10-part webisode is born out of a desire to preserve the fragments of Singapore’s past that is rapidly being replaced by new developments. The four students – Derek Foo (24), Elizabeth Lee (22), Lim Song Lip (24) and Jeremy Tan (24), who make up the RediscoverSG crew, realised there are parts of Singapore’s history that needs to be chronicled. The things and places that they assumed would always be part of the Singapore landscape as children are fast becoming part of their past.

Unseen/Unsaid

Unseen/Unsaid will start airing online from today at 11am at rediscover.sg, and every Wednesday at 11am thereafter.

The RediscoverSG team has also produced a series of paper toys related to the series which will be retailing at $20 for a set of five toys and the team aims to raise $10,000 for charity organisation MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) fund to help disadvantaged children and youths in Singapore.

Unseen/Unsaid

We really liked the combination of poetic narrative with the deftly-executed cinematography in the episodes that we previewed and hope you’ll enjoy this series as well. :)
