The hills are alive with the sound of music! For two nights only at Fort Canning Park, Singapore HeritageFest brings together a wide range of local musicians and performers in the mega concert Home Brewed.

Singapore HeritageFest 2011

This two-part concert will take you on an unforgettable journey of Singapore’s pop music through the decades from the ‘50s to today. Performers include pop queen Anita Sarawak, Talentime favourites such as the Ferdinands Family, Mandopop star Maggie Teng, and young musicians Inch Chua, Ling Kai, Sleeq, and more!

If you prefer some daytime entertainment, then catch the Sunday afternoon gig featuring Jack & Rai, The Next Movement and Cove Red. It’s going to be a relaxing series of acoustic tunes at the park, so bring along your mats and picnic baskets!

Food and craft bazaars, trails, workshops and exhibits are also set to take place amid the backdrop of Singapore’s most historic fort, so don’t miss this unforgettable weekend combining the best of local music and nature.

SINGAPORE HERITAGEFEST 2011
15 – 31 July

Every year, the Singapore HeritageFest (SHF) brings both young and old together to celebrate our city’s charms, multicultural community and rich history.

This year, in our eighth Festival and the largest one yet, we transform the island into a feast of music, dance, art, food and numerous interactive experiences, in tribute to all that we love about our home, Singapore.

SHF 2011’s theme, Home – What We Love About It!, welcomes you to rethink what it means to call this city home. In an exciting three-week exploration, rediscover the city’s local cultures and practices, travel back to times past and present, and experience fully our living heritage.
